No Tried It Tuesday for two weeks in a row! Things must be falling apart over here!
We're still alive over here on Bryan Avenue, however, after my husband informed me that he thought we should hire our housecleaner back because "the house is a disaster," I thought I should spend less time blogging and crafting and more time cleaning. Oh, and I've recently become addicted to the show "Homeland", so I need to spend time watching that now. I'll be back next week though with something. Maybe a vegan meal since my husband informed me last week he's now vegan.
Life is really good over here. The babies are in a super great stage right now. They still aren't mobile and aren't showing any signs of wanting to crawl, roll, or move from sitting position at all. A small part of me thinks I should be concerned, especially as I look back to see what Cohen was doing at this stage and I see that he was standing and giving high fives. No, he wasn't clapping, waving, or crawling or doing other developmentally-appropriate things that he "should" have done but he was a little more advanced than the nerds. Like I said, it's a small part of me that is concerned. The bigger part of me says that the window for opportunity for these developmental milestones is pretty big and I need not worry...yet. Besides, when they start crawling things are going to be a lot more...challenging.
They are both so content and happy, too, which makes me cry joy-filled tears almost every day. Yes, the waterworks have returned but in a wonderful way. I think they both must think I'm nuts.
So I'm enjoying this stage we are in. Enjoying it and soaking it all up.
Tomorrow is their 9 month check-up and I thought I would post some predictions on weight, length, etc. I'll post their actuals either tomorrow or on Friday.
Here we go...
Weight-18 lbs 13 oz
Weight-17 lbs 11 oz
Let's see how good of a mother I am at predicting my children's stats. Because that's one of the criteria for being a good mother, right?
And to answer my friend Julie's question, I looked at the photos of me as a baby and I did, in fact, have larger cheeks. Not sure if Christian contributed some of the cheeks but I have a feeling my children got it from both of us.
